TOLEDO, Ohio — If you want to take your family out this weekend, check out the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Fun Festival.
Attendees will be greeted with rides, games, food, tie-dye shirts and music at this year's festival.
Kevin Kosinksi, the festival's chairman, encourages people to come out and visit them this weekend.
"Come out and see us. We'll have rides, beverages, and food. It's a great place to meet people and hear good music," Kosinski said.
The Fun Festival began in 1993 and ran for 25 years until 2018. Due to public demand, it was relaunched in 2021.
Kosinski said that a lot of work goes into the festival to ensure families have fun.
"It's a good community builder. We want to showcase Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish and everything we can offer," Kosinski said. "We have an excellent school that the festival helps support, not only the church but also the school. Awesome teachers and education that we can offer here."
The festival starts Friday from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m., and then continues Saturday from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church is located at 2255 Central Grove in Toledo.
