LYONS, Ohio — One person was killed and three others were hospitalized with injuries after a two-vehicle crash in Fulton County Thursday afternoon, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Richard Kinnick, 74, of Adrian, Mich., was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at the intersection of state Route 109 and U.S. Route 20 in Royalton Township.
Kinnick was driving southbound on the state route in an SUV when he did not stop at a stop sign at the intersection and was struck by another SUV driving westbound on U.S. 20 at about 1:18 p.m., OSHP said.
A 71-year-old passenger in Kinnick's vehicle was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, OSHP said. The driver and a passenger of the other SUV were hospitalized with minor injuries.
