TOLEDO, Ohio — One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Alexis Road Wednesday afternoon, according to Toledo police.
Tyler Herman, 21, of Toledo, was traveling westbound on Alexis Road near the Lewis Avenue intersection just before 5:30 p.m. "at a high rate of speed" and hit another vehicle traveling eastbound and making a left-hand turn, police say.
The driver of the vehicle that Herman struck was hospitalized. Their condition is unknown at this time.
