ERIE COUNTY, OHIO, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a six vehicle crash that left two people seriously injured. According to authorities, it happened Friday night in Perkins Township, near the intersection of Perkins Avenue and Hayes Avenue.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the driver of a Cadillac was heading west on Perkins Avenue, when it struck a Toyota. The driver of the Cadillac then traveled left of the center lane and struck a Ford Focus, which then hit two additional vehicles as a result of the impact.
After hitting the Ford Focus, authorities say the Cadillac then spun into an SUV.
OSHP said that the drivers of the Cadillac and Ford Focus were injured from the crash and transported to Firelands Hospital.
OSHP said the crash is under investigation and alcohol is believed to be a factor.
