TOLEDO (WTOL) - It might be hard to believe, but it’s already time for the 2019 Susan G. Komen Races for the Cure in Toledo and Findlay!
This year’s races start off in Findlay on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 7 a.m. Blanchard Valley Hospital.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the race begins at 9 a.m.
The Toledo race will be held on Sunday, Sept. 29 starting at the Survivor Tent and Race Expo at 7 a.m. at 406 Washington Street.
Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m., while the race starts at 9:30 a.m.
Registration opens on Wednesday, May 1 with an early bird special of $5 off all participation types. The discount will be automatically applied to regular prices, no discount code is necessary.
New this year is Team More Than Pink campaign.
You can get on board and be part of the Komen More Than Pink Team during the race this year, lead by Komen Ambassador Melissa Andrews.
The race, which started in 1993 in Toledo, celebrated its 25th anniversary last year.
The race has been going on in Findlay for seven years.
The race honors those who lost their battle with breast cancer.
It also represents those who have survived and keep fighting every day.
