TOLEDO, Ohio — A collision in the 1700 block of West Laskey Road, near Jackman Road, has left one person hospitalized, according to Toledo police.
A press report indicates the crash happened late Saturday night around 11:30 p.m.
According to TPD, a 35-year-old west Toledo woman was driving westbound on Laskey Road when a pedestrian attempted to cross the roadway outside of a designated crosswalk.
Police said the pedestrian was struck by the woman's vehicle after the pedestrian entered her lane of travel.
Authorities state the pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, but the driver was not injured in the collision.
Police indicated that the pedestrian has not yet been positively identified.
No arrests have been made at this time, as TPD continues to investigate the incident.
