TOLEDO, Ohio — A pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle last week outside of the Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center has died, according to the Toledo Police Department.
According to a press release, Justin Williams, 40, walked off of the sidewalk onto Cherry Street around 10:15 p.m. on Sept. 19 and was struck by a vehicle being driven northbound on Cherry Street by a 71-year-old from Alliance, Ohio, outside of Akron.
TPD did not provide details on when Williams, of Toledo, died after the crash or specifics about the injuries Williams sustained.
The driver was not injured.
An investigation into the incident is still underway.
