TOLEDO, Ohio — Two people were taken to the hospital early Wednesday morning after escaping a fire at an east Toledo home.
The blaze broke out around 1 a.m. on Freedom Street between White and Holmes Street.
Toledo Fire & Rescue told WTOL this same residence experienced a fire two years ago. Crews also said there is a temporary electricity pole still providing power to the home.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
