PERRYSBURG, Ohio — Work on the next phase of the multiuse path along the Maumee River in Perrysburg will begin in October.

In the summer, Perrysburg City Council approved an agreement with a paving company for $496,900 for the construction of the path. The path will connect Riverside Park to Green Lane and is expected to be completed by next fall.

The next portion of the path will begin construction in the spring, and is expected to complete the whole path.

The multiuse path is all apart of the City of Perrysburg's Orleans Park Master Plan presented to city council back in September 2022. The plan includes the mile long path from Riverside Park to Orleans Park, a nature playground, an events pavilion and many more accessibilities.
