FINDLAY, Ohio — A person is dead after an apartment fire in Findlay on Sunday afternoon.
The fire took place around 4 p.m. at the Bent Tree Apartments on Ivy Lane off of East Melrose Avenue near Crystal Avenue.
According to City of Findlay officials, the fire was contained to a single unit in the complex.
One person, a male, died in the fire.
Findlay police say an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
Findlay police say the identity of the victim is not being released pending further investigation by the Ohio Fire Marshal's Office.
