OREGON, Ohio — One person was able to escape a fire at their house early Christmas Eve morning.
The fire happened at a home on S. Norden Road around 3 a.m.
Crews arrived to find flames and smoke pouring from the home.
They say smoke detectors enabled the woman and her dog to get out of the home safely.
The fire is not suspicious and the cause is unclear at this time.
