WOOD COUNTY, Ohio — A 69-year-old man from Findlay died Tuesday night after he was hit by a car while crossing I-75 on foot just south of Bowling Green, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Daniel Soloman was crossing the interstate shortly before 7 p.m. in Portage Township when the driver, a 34-year-old from Detroit, hit him in the southbound lanes, OSHP said in a press release.
Soloman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was not injured.
