TOLEDO, Ohio — The Toledo Police Department responded to a collision at the intersection of Woodville Road and Oak Street in east Toledo around 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 14.
According to police, a 28-year-old man from Bryan, Ohio and his passenger, a 32-year-old woman from Bryan, Ohio were traveling by motorcycle on Oak Street when the driver attempted to turn left onto Woodville Road.
Police state that another vehicle, driven by 50-year-old south Toledo man, was traveling east on driving eastbound on Woodville Road.
Authorities report that as the motorcycle was turning, it was struck by the vehicle in oncoming traffic.
The passenger on the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital for serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the incident is still pending. It is unknown if charges will be filed.
