TOLEDO, Ohio — One person was hospitalized after crashing their motorcycle early Thursday morning.
The incident happened shortly after 2 a.m. on Seaman Road and Burger Street in east Toledo.
A 35-year-old motorcycle driver from Toledo failed to negotiate a turn from Seaman Road onto Burger Street and crashed, according to a Toledo Police Department report.
The motorcyclist was found after another motorist spotted them laying in a grassy area off of the roadway, a Toledo police officer said at the scene.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and is in critical condition as of Thursday afternoon.
Burger Street was completely blocked off around Hecklinger's Pond while the scene was being investigated.
The crash remains under investigation.
