ELMORE, Ohio — A 92-year-old person died at the scene of a crash Wednesday on the Ohio Turnpike when a vehicle he was the front passenger in struck the back of a semi truck, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
A Lincoln Nautilus, being driven by a 78-year-old was driving westbound on the Turnpike near Elmore, Ohio, at about 12:30 p.m. when it hit the semi.
Kenneth Klingshirn, of Elyria, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Lincoln was hospitalized with minor injuries, OSHP said. The 37-year-old driver of the semi was treated at the scene for possible injuries.
