Person killed in Perrysburg crash

The 71-year-old victim, who has not been identified pending notification of family, was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle crash on Fort Meigs Road.

PERRYSBURG, Ohio — A 71-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of a single-vehicle crash in Perrysburg Friday afternoon, according to a city public information officer.

The driver was traveling northbound on Fort Meigs Road between Falling Waters Lane and Stoneleigh Road at 4:16 p.m. when "he went left of center, hit a curb, and flipped over," a press release states.

The vehicle landed on its top in a ditch and the driver, who has not been identified pending notification of family, had to be extricated.
