MAUMEE, Ohio — Metroparks Toledo announced that kids in area will be finally able to use the playground at Side Cut Metropark during the summer.
In February, the playground and certain parts of the park had to be closed after flood and ice inundated the area.
Crews first started the clean up process of the parking lots and walking paths back in February. Other areas were more severely damaged and had work delayed a few times because of the rain.
