TOLEDO, Ohio — The body found in Swan Creek Saturday belongs to Daniel Wiggins Jr., according to Wiggins' mother and sister, who say they were informed by police.
According to Wiggins' sister, police found his wallet on the body.
Police responded to a call of a body found in Swan Creek in south Toledo Saturday afternoon.
Police were called to the area near the 800 block of Curtis Street around 6 p.m.
Earlier in the day, a search party was held in the area for two men who went missing nearly 6 months apart.
Kieara Fields, mother of two of Wiggins' children, had spent the morning with a search party. She said she's glad they found him but it's not the result she wanted.
"He was a loving and caring person and his kids were his world," Fields said. "He would do anything to see them be with them, be around them. He wouldn't miss no appointments. No ER trips. He was there every step."
Wiggins' mother Tanika Boyd said her family is determined to find out what happened to him.
"Little bit of closure just because for the last five months, it's like where's my child," Boyd said. "But now it's on to get justice for him. He didn't just end up in that area alone to get justice for him."
Daniel Wiggins Jr. and Jonathon Robinson both fled Toledo Police during separate traffic stops near the former Libbey High School in south Toledo.
Police say a man matching Wiggins' description fled the scene after a traffic stop on Gordon St. January 22.

"It's very, very hard not knowing, not knowing what happened or where he is, and stuff like that like it's very hard and I have to deal with it everyday,” said Wiggins’ sister Danielle Wiggins on Saturday.
Earlier in June, police said they searched the area of Swan Creek, where it's possible Daniel Wiggins ran, multiple times, but saw no signs of Wiggins.
According to a report, police searched the banks of Swan Creek on January 23 and 24, on January 30, and again on February 14.
On April 4, drones were used to search Swan Creek.
The family of Jonathon Robinson says the 19-year-old from Detroit was in Toledo on June 9 and ran from police after he had been pulled over.
"It’s totally unlike him and there's no doubt in my mind that he didn't just choose to disappear and hide out,” said Robinson’s mother Kimberly Robinson. “Something's not right, so I'm looking for, I'm desperately searching for my son."
Today friends and family organized a search party in hopes of finding answers.
