FOSTORIA, Ohio — Fostoria City Schools says there will be a police presence at the Junior/Senior High School Wednesday following a fake shooting threat.
The school says they were made aware late Tuesday of a Snapchat account being hacked and a post made about a potential shooting at the JSHS on Wednesday.
After an investigation, the school says police deemed the threat not credible.
The school says there will be a police presence at the JSHS and all buildings in the district as a precaution.
Students and staff are asked to remain alert for anything out of the ordinary.
The school says they are working the police throughout their investigation.
