TOLEDO, Ohio — ProMedica named Donna Zuk, an executive with nearly 40 years experience in health care accounting and financial operations, the company's new Chief Accounting Officer in a press release Friday.
In the announcement, a ProMedica spokesperson said Zuk is coming to ProMedica from Corewell Health in Southfield, Michigan, where she oversaw the company's financial operations and payroll. She has also worked in positions of financial authority for Bon Secours Michigan Health System, the Medical University of Ohio in Toledo and Oakwood Healthcare System.
Zuk possesses a bachelor of business administration in accounting from Eastern Michigan University and has received additional education in healthcare leadership and finance.
“Donna is a strategic health care accounting and financial planning expert, and we are excited to welcome her to the ProMedica family,” Terry Metzger, ProMedica Chief Financial Officer said in a statement. “We expect to benefit greatly from her analytical and operational decision-making support as we continue to position ProMedica for greater stability and success.”
Zuk will report to Metzger, the spokesperson said in the press release.
Metzger was named the company's new CFO in May 2023; prior to that, Arturo Polizzi was named the company's next CEO in October 2022, following Randy Oostra's retirement.
