OREGON, Ohio — Rescue teams were called to Maumee Bay State Park in Oregon on Saturday to investigate reports of a possible drowning.
At around 3:45 p.m. WTOL 11 spoke to an officer from the Oregon police department who says crews are checking the inland beach.
Rescue crews on the scene say they were checking the water after someone says they saw something floating in the water.
Divers spent a little over an hour checking the water but were unable to find anything.
Jerusalem Twp. Fire and Oregon Fire/Rescue, also responded.
