TOLEDO, Ohio — A resource and job fair will be held in Lucas County to help showcase employment opportunities for residents, especially those who have been affected by manufacturing layoffs in the area.
Multiple manufacturing companies in Lucas County have announced possible layoffs, impacting over 1,600 workers, according to the Board of County Commissioners.
The resource and job fairs, hosted by the Lucas County Department of Planning and Development, Lucas County Job & Family Services and OhioMeansJobs Lucas County, will take place on Friday, Feb. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
