TOLEDO, Ohio — Rite Aid is set to close an additional 27 stores in Ohio and Michigan, the drugstore chain making its way through its Chapter 11 bankruptcy process announced in a court filing on Monday.
Five stores in northwest Ohio have been added to the nationwide list of closures, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court:
- 2434 West Laskey Road, Toledo, 43613
- 3362 Navarre Avenue, Oregon 43616
- 722-740 South Main Street, Bowling Green 43402
- 530 West Market Street, Tiffin 44883
- 1816 East 2nd Street, Defiance 43512
These stores, along with the 22 others, have until June 27 to file an objection to the closures.
Three other stores in northwest Ohio have previously been marked for closure:
- 5033 Suder Ave., Toledo 43611
- 2450 S. Reynolds Rd., Toledo 43614
- 1221 W. High St., Bryan 43506

More than 200 stores nationwide have been listed for closure.
