TOLEDO, Ohio — Woodward High School is not closing.
That is the message from Toledo Public Schools after suspicious calls were made to Woodward High School Alumni on Saturday saying there have been discussions to close the school.
TPS said on a Facebook post later in the day that the rumor is “simply NOT true”.
They go on to say the calls are part of “some sort of scam” and ask anyone who receives a similar call to hang up.
