TOLEDO, Ohio — The Salvation Army of Greater Toledo is opening up applications for kettle bell ringers for the 2024 holiday season.
According to area coordinators for The Salvation Army of Northwest Ohio, those looking to become a bell ringer in the Toledo area should plan to attend the open interview process on Friday, Oct. 4 or Friday, Oct. 11. Sessions will be held from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on both days.
Interviews will be held at the Salvation Army location on Erie Street in Downtown Toledo.
To be eligible for the position, candidates must bring a photo I.D. and social security card or birth certificate.
Annually, The Salvation Army in the U.S. aids more than six million people around Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The Salvation Army’s programming offers rent and utility assistance, counseling, music programs, arts and educational programs, activities for older adults, spiritual development and drug rehabilitation.
