TOLEDO, Ohio — A school bus from a southeast Michigan school district was involved in a crash with another vehicle in south Toledo Friday morning.

According to Toledo police on scene, a school bus from Ida Public Schools, located in Monroe County, was transporting students to a field trip at the Sofia Quintero Art and Cultural Center.

Around 9:30 a.m., the bus was at the intersection of Maumee and Crittenden avenues in south Toledo. Toledo police on scene told WTOL 11 the school bus driver ran a stop sign at the intersection, at which point the school bus collided with an SUV.

The driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries, Toledo police said. None of the students on the school bus were injured, according to authorities.

Police said the students walked the rest of the way to their field trip destination.
