NORTH BALTIMORE, Ohio — Sheetz in North Baltimore is set to open on Wednesday, marking the third Toledo-area location for the convenience store chain.
The North Baltimore location will be at 13175 Deshler Road, right off Interstate 75. Sheetz's two other Toledo-area locations in Maumee and Springfield Township opened in September.
Sheetz said the new location will open to the public at 8 a.m. with grand opening festivities beginning outside the store at 9 a.m. on Wednesday. The convenience store said multiple prizes will be given away, including a grand giveaway of free Sheetz for a year.
The official ribbon-cutting for the store is set for 10:45 a.m. Sheetz said it will also be offering customers free self-serve coffee and soda for the entire grand opening day.
Sheetz said it will be donating $2,500 to the Toledo Northwestern Ohio Foodbank in honor of the grand opening. According to Sheetz, customers who donate a non-perishable food item to the nonprofit at the grand opening will receive a Sheetz-branded thermal bag from 9-11 a.m. while supplies last.
Sheetz said it will also be making a donation of $2,500 to the Special Olympics of Ohio.
According to Sheetz, the North Baltimore location will employ approximately 30 people and offer its Made-to-Order menu.
Sheetz said it has more than 750 locations across Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Michigan, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland. All store locations are open 24/7, 365 days a year.
