TOLEDO, Ohio — The popular gas station and convenience store chain Sheetz announced Monday plans for two more northwest Ohio locations, adding to the already six in the works.
Among the two new locations will be the first announced in Wood County; thus far, all other northwest Ohio plans are isolated to Lucas County.
According to a press release from Sheetz, the company plans to build the locations in south Toledo and North Baltimore. The addresses are as follows:
- 1950 S. Reynolds Rd. in Toledo
- 13081 Deshler Rd. in North Baltimore
These locations are in addition to the other six Sheetz locations planned, which cover four municipalities in Lucas County:
- 1150 Clinic Dr. in Maumee
- 6633 Dorr St. in Toledo
- 6048 US-20 in Toledo
- 2760 Navarre Ave. in Oregon
- 3955 N. McCord Rd. in Sylvania
- 1391 Arrowhead Dr. in Maumee

The Clinic Drive location in Maumee is slated to be the first to open in the area, beginning sometime this fall, Sheetz said in the release. The Dorr Street store is scheduled to open second, also in fall 2024.
Sheetz also said it plans to donate $10,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Ohio, a local organization that supports and mentors area youth.
Sheetz is hiring 60 employees for its first two Toledo-area stores: 30 employees each at the Clinic Drive and Dorr Street locations. The hiring events will include on-the-spot interviews on Tuesday, Aug. 13 and Wednesday, Aug. 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The hiring events will take place at the Holiday Inn at 1705 Tollgate Dr. in Maumee. Interested persons can RSVP for the event here, but walk-ins are also welcome, Sheetz said in a press release.
