PERRYSBURG, Ohio — A student was injured Thursday morning after they were struck by a vehicle at a Perrysburg elementary school, according to a message sent to families.
Toth Elementary School Principal Jessica Molina said in the message that a student had been struck by a car during drop off and was injured. The student's injuries were described as non-life threatening, and the student's family has been notified of the incident.
In the message, Molina said staff members immediately called 911 and assisted in making the student comfortable until first responders arrived.
Molina encouraged parents to listen to take the time to listen to their child if they have feelings or questions regarding the incident, as well as provide them with factual information appropriate for their age.
