TOLEDO, Ohio — Two teens told Toledo police that they were attacked in the central city Friday afternoon.
Police were called to a local hospital Friday, where a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old told officers that around 3 p.m. they were attacked while at a gas station in the 3000 block of Stickney Avenue.
The teens told police that they were accosted at the gas station by two unknown suspects and one of the suspects began fighting with the 17-year-old. During the fight the second suspect stabbed the 17-year-old in the back, the teen told police.
The teens then fled the scene, they told police. Their attackers chased them in a white truck, they said. The driver of the truck attempted to run over the 16-year-old but failed, the teen told police.
Toledo police detectives are investigating, police said.
