WILLIAMS COUNTY, Ohio — Three people were injured in a crash in Williams County on Saturday evening.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at the intersection of US 127 and County Road I.50 in Jefferson Township around 5:12 p.m.

OSHP says 46-year-old Sommer Wolford, of Convoy, was driving south on US 127 at the same time that 18-year-old Jacee Altaffer, of Montpelier was driving east on County Road I.50.

Troopers say Altaffer failed to yield at the stop sign at the intersection and was subsequently struck by Wolford.

Both vehicles went off the east side of US 127.

Altaffer, Sommer Wolford, and 53-year-old Tracey Wolford, who was a passenger in Sommer Wolford’s car, were all taken to the hospital in Bryan.

Tracey Wolford was later transported to the hospital in Toledo with serious injuries.

Altaffer was later taken to the hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, also with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
