LUCAS COUNTY, Ohio — Three people are dead after a single-car crash on Route 64 near Oak Openings in western Lucas County on Saturday.
Ohio State Highway Patrol says the crash happened when a car traveling west on Waterville-Swanton Road swerved off the road and hit a tree.
According to OSHP, a male driver in his 20s and two passengers, a male and female, both in their 50s, were killed in the crash.
OSHP says speed was a factor in the crash.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
