TPD abandoned and forfeited vehicle auction to kick off June 15

This year's event will be held online instead of by public auction and goes until July 7.

TOLEDO, Ohio — The Toledo Police Department is set to begin its first abandoned and forfeited motor vehicle auction of the year on Monday, June 15.

The auction will last until July 7 and will be held online instead of in person due to ongoing concerns about coronavirus.

All vehicles will be sold as is without any warranty. All sales are final and police say there will be no refunds for any reason.

Most vehicles will have a salvage title.

There will be around 100 cars, trucks trailers and motorcycles available.

The Vehicle Impound Office can be contacted Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. or on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at 419-245-3399.
