Toledo municipal, juvenile courts closed Wednesday, Thursday

Scheduled court dates on assigned cases will be reset at the discretion of the assigned judge.

TOLEDO (WTOL) - The Toledo Municipal Court and the Toledo Juvenile Court will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday due to the predicted sub-zero temperatures and wind chills.

The courts both noted the action was in order to ensure the safety of court staff and citizens before the court.

Juvenile Detention Center, Youth Treatment Center, and Surveillance staff must still report as scheduled. Employees are advised to check with their supervisors for details.

Scheduled court dates on assigned cases will be reset at the discretion of the assigned judges.

Traffic docket appearances will be reset to the week of Feb. 11.

Morning municipal criminal arraignments scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday will be conducted on Friday.

Juvenile delinquency arraignments will be heard on Friday morning, the next available business day the court is open.

Municipal court fines or costs due for payments on Wednesday or Thursday are now due no later than Feb. 5.
