TOLEDO, Ohio — The Toledo Police Department will welcome 23 new officers Friday night.
The 67th Toledo Police Academy will graduate at 6 p.m. at the Owens Community College Center for Fine & Performing Arts. The department will now employ 606 sworn officers.
A breakdown of the 23 new officers:
Male - 15
Female - 9
White - 15
Black - 2
Hispanic - 5
Asian/Pacific Islander - 2
