TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are investigating a pair of incidents from Thursday night and Friday morning in which someone fired guns at homes in the city.
In the first incident, a woman who lives in the 2000 block of Mason Street told police that she heard gunfire shortly before 9 p.m. Thursday.
The woman told officers that she had to take cover and narrowly missed being hit by gunfire. She was not injured, police said.
Officers found several rounds stuck in the woman's home, according to the police report.
In the second incident, Toledo police said two people who live at a home in the 4400 block of Vermaas Avenue reported that they were awakened by gunfire shortly before 5 a.m. Friday.
Officers found one projectile inside the home, several bullet holes in the house and several shell casings in the street, according to the police report. No one was injured in the shooting, police said.
Detectives are investigating, police said.
