TPD: Officer hospitalized for non-life threatening injuries after I-75 crash Sunday

According to Toledo police, the officer was conducting traffic control for an unrelated accident when their vehicle was struck by another motorist.

A Toledo police officer was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after a crash on I-75 northbound by the Toledo Museum of Art Sunday night.

According to TPD, the officer was conducting traffic control for an unrelated accident when their vehicle was struck by another motorist.

A section of I-75 by TMA has reopened after being closed due to the crash.

On Monday morning, Toledo police said "the officer has been released from the hospital and is at home recovering, in good spirits."
