OREGON, Ohio — Don't be alarmed, the Toledo Refining Company in Oregon will be conducting a routine test of its emergency siren on Saturday.
The refinery said the internal testing of its backup activation siren will take place at noon with a chance that the sirens could run past its normally programmed time of 30 seconds.
"Testing our sirens ensures that we run the refinery to the highest safety standards possible to protect the community, employees and contract partners," the refinery said.
If you have any questions about the scheduled test, you can call the Plant Protection hotline at 419-698-6600.
