TOLEDO, Ohio — A City of Toledo water division worker was taken to the hospital Thursday morning after being hit by a vehicle.
Robert Townsend, was outside his city vehicle just before 10 a.m. on Arlington Avenue in south Toledo when he was struck by Norman Manning, according to Toledo police. Townsend was thrown to the ground when hit.
Townsend was treated and released from the hospital.
Manning was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries and his current condition is unknown at this time.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
