FULTON COUNTY, OHIO, Ohio — A Toledo woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Fulton County on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Sandra Ball, 74, was eastbound on County Road B in Swan Creek Township around 4:45 p.m. and failed to yield the right of way at County Road 3. She was hit by a vehicle driven by John Hernandez, 45, of Delta.
Ball's vehicle then struck a house on the northeast corner of the intersection, OSHP said.
Ball was pronounced dead while on the way to the hospital and Hernandez was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, OSHP said.
According to OSHP, Ball was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. They also said that impairment does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
