TOLEDO, Ohio — Take a walk on the wild side and check out some unique art at the Toledo Zoo's "Wild About Art" fair.
The event takes place August 3 and 4 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
"Wild About Art" will feature work from 80 local and regional artists that attendees can purchase. And, what may be the coolest part of the event, visitors can watch as several animal residents, including African elephants, red pandas, Galapagos tortoises, African Penguins and more, create their own one-of-a-kind pieces of art!
If that isn't enough excitement, fair-goers can enjoy several other creative activities. There will be live entertainment from Millienius Strings and various groups from Toledo School of the Arts. If you want to learn something new, check out the origami and glass flameworking demonstrations from the Toledo Museum Art. Even the kids can keep occupied in the children's art zone located in Nature's Neighborhood.
For a complete list of participating artists and a schedule of the weekend's activities, check out the Toledo Zoo website.
The two-day event is free with zoo admission.
