TOLEDO, Ohio — The Toledo Police Department is currently investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred late Saturday morning on the corner of Upton Avenue and Wellesley Drive in west Toledo.
Police say a car being driven by 32-year-old Iesha Lawrence was traveling south on Upton just before 11:30 a.m. when it collided with a car being driven by 23-year-old Destiny Coleman which was traveling east on Wellesley.
Police say Coleman failed to stop at the stop sign and collided with Lawrence's car.
Both cars came to rest in the front yard of a home on Upton.
Lawrence, Coleman, and 35-year-old Joshua Bonds Greer, who was a passenger in Coleman's car were all taken to the hospital.
The extent of their injuries are currently unknown, but one TPD officer on the scene described them as 'likely non-life-threatening'.
The crash prompted authorities to shut down the intersection for a short period of time. The intersection has since reopened.
Police are continuing to investigate.
