TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo Police are investigating after finding a man's body in an alley near Monroe Street around 10:15 a.m. Sunday.
When detectives arrived on scene, they discovered Laronnie Franklin had been shot at least one time.
The Franklin's identity could not be determined until after the Lucas County Coroner's Office was able to assist the investigation on Monday.
TPD is investigating the incident as a homicide.
Police say a crime was located a short distance away from the scene.
