TOLEDO, Ohio — A man was found dead inside his home after a house fire in west Toledo late Sunday.
The incident happened around 10 p.m. on Sunset Boulevard between Santa Monica Street and Rampart Street.
Toledo Fire & Rescue crews at the scene told WTOL they were able to quickly contain the fire before finding the man dead inside the single-story residential structure.
Investigators do not believe the fire is suspicious. The cause of the fire and death are under investigation. The building was equipped with working smoke alarms, according to Toledo Fire and Rescue.
