Snow plow crash send two to hospital, according to authorities

WILLIAMS COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that happened yesterday on County Road O.50.

On Sunday, Jan. 14, at around 1:30 p.m. officers responded to a crash involving a red snow plow and a passenger vehicle. 

Further investigation showed that the snow plow driver, a 55-year-old man, was driving westbound on County Road O.50 clearing snow from the roadway when he failed to yield right-of-way at a stop sign. The plow then struck a silver 2021 CAN-AM Defender that was traveling southbound on County Road 1.50.

Two occupants were in the silver defender at the time of the crash. The driver, a 23-year-old man, was transported to Parkview Montpelier Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger, a 48-year-old woman, was transported to Parkview Bryan Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
