FULTON COUNTY, OHIO, Ohio — Two people died and two more were injured after an early morning home explosion in Fulton County Thursday.
The explosion happened at a home on County Road K near County Road 12.
The victims are a family of four, according to the brother of one of the victims.
A father and daughter have died following the explosion. A mother and son are hospitalized with injuries. It is unclear at the time what their conditions may be.
Lots of smoke and debris could be viewed at the scene as bits of the home spread across the front yard. An excavator was brought out to help dig through the debris.
Investigators are still trying to find the exact cause of the explosion.
"It's maybe the third one I've been on in 24 years," Delta Fire Chief Jeremy Gillen said. "It's just one of those unfortunate, tragic accidents, I guess."
