TOLEDO (WTOL) - A person is dead after a shooting took place in the parking lot behind the Toledo Museum of Art Thursday evening.
Police were called to 2445 Monroe around 5:20 p.m. for reports of a person shot.
Police arrived to the scene and found 26-year-old Zachary Duprey suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Police say Duprey was treated at the scene before being taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Police say a person they believed to be involved with the shooting ran into the Plaza Apartments nearby and they spent several hours inside the apartments searching for that individual.
Police later found suspect 21-year-old Jaquan Sturdevant. Sturdevant is being held on a $1 million bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 1.
