TOLEDO, Ohio — Washington Local Schools and Toledo police investigating a series of social media threats against the district, seemingly made by a Jefferson Jr. High Student.

According to a Facebook post by Whitmer High School, also in the WLS district, district leaders were notified by the community of "threatening social media posts" made Tuesday evening. The district said the account making the posts appeared to have all originated from a Jefferson Jr. High student.

The district made the police aware of the threat, who are now investigating the threat.
