Water boil advisory lifted in Whitehouse

Waterville Street from South Street to Bittersweet Farms was under a boil advisory following a water main break on Monday, according to a village official.

WHITEHOUSE, Ohio — UPDATE: The water boil advisory has been lifted, the village said Thursday. Water testing has been performed and passed.

A portion of the village of Whitehouse is under a boil advisory after a water main break Monday.

The break happened at Waterville Street and Pelton Drive, resulting in an outage for some residents, according to a village of Whitehouse official.

The water main has since been repaired and water has been turned back on, however, some areas of Whitehouse are under a boil advisory until further notice.

The affected area is Waterville Street from South Street to Bittersweet Farms, including Pelton, Westwyck, Wycliffe and Wyndham drives, the Savanna Lakes subdivision, Lone Oak Crossing and State Route 295.

Oak Brook is unaffected at this time. 

The Whitehouse Public Service Department has hand-delivered notices to everyone under the boil water advisory, which will remain in place until notification to discontinue.
