TOLEDO, Ohio — A boil water advisory was issued Friday morning for a stretch of Secor Road in west Toledo, impacting two restaurants, according to the city.
The city said the boil advisory is in effect for Secor Road from Executive Parkway to 3204 Secor Road and is affecting Chick-fil-A and El Vaquero. The advisory is set to expire on Saturday at 5 p.m., according to the city.
The city told WTOL 11 Tuesday "there's a private valve in the road that is leaking. It's Chick-fil-A. We've told them they need to expedite repair within the next 10 days."
A shallow puddle from the leak was visible along Secor Road since at least Friday, Oct. 25, according to incident reports with Engage Toledo.

The city said to run cold water taps to flush lines and then boil water for three minutes for drinking and cooking,
According to the city, boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making formula, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and preparing food.
